Position Overview:
The Production Supervisor will report directly to the Director of Production. The successful candidate should be experienced in all aspects of communication, leadership and organizational skills. This position will require the open availability to work 1st Shift (7am-3pm) , 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm) or 3rd Shift (11pm-7am), as needed.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leads and directs the work of others through setting the example of safety first as a personal responsibility for each employee.
- Supervises workers that operate production machinery, assemble items, perform quality control, or package goods for shipment.
- Notifies maintenance departments when equipment requires maintenance or repair.
- Monitors output against established schedules or quality goals.
- Coordinates the flow of work through the facility and ensures that lines have sufficient levels of inventory to meet demand and are staffed appropriately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2- 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Must have the ability to work as part of a team and good decision-making skills.
- Must have excellent organizational and supervisory skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate and lead effectively.
