Job Description

We are looking for an experienced forklift operator to operate industrial trucks in an industrial/warehouse location to load/unload and house commercial air conditioning units

Candidates must have 6 months of verifiable forklift experience within the last 18 months & have high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect load for accuracy and quality
- Safely load/unload product and move it throughout the facility
- Load oversize loads onto racks/shelves
- Transport oversize loads with forklift
- Transport loads between loading, warehouse, processing, and storage areas
- Manually and mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids and boxes to secure materials and products for transport to designated areas

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Skills:
- Manufacturing, warehouse, production knowledge and experience

- Demonstrated knowledge of safety protocols for warehouse environment

- Forklift driving experience

- Attention to detail

- Team player

- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control measures, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
* 2 - 4 years previous manufacturing, warehouse, production experience

* High School Diploma or Equivalent

* 1+ year verifiable forklift driving experience (preferred certification)

* Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs repeatedly for 12 hours

* Ability to sit for 12 hours

* Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, squat repeatedly throughout shift

* Ability to lift 50 lbs on a repetitive basis

* Tolerance for non-climate controlled warehouse environment; including ability to work both inside and outside while being exposed to weather conditions/elements

* Basic computer knowledge and skills with scanner experience preferred
