Hello Bello is looking for a highly skilled Process Technician who will maximize efficiency of manufacturing processes by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization at our new Fulfillment and Manufacturing facility in Waco, Texas. You will continuously monitor the performance of manufacturing lines, equipment, machines and tools and communicate/resolve problems as they arise.
Responsibility:
- Optimizes productivity by designing, implementing and testing new manufacturing processes & procedures
- Continuously measure, document and improve manufacturing process capabilities and assemble reports to document process status and changes
- Perform process audits daily to ensure processes are being followed and documentation is up-to-date
- Optimizes processes to attain lower manufacturing costs, increased productivity and reduced cycle times
- Provides thorough instructions and documentation for successful implementation of process changes
- Assesses compliance with applicable safety and quality standard
- Proactively makes suggestions/proposals to strive for continuous improvement of equipment and team performance
Qualifications:
- Must have packaging engineering experience; Bachelors or Associates degree in Packaging Engineering or 2-4 years of equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience as a process engineering technician within a complex, high-speed manufacturing environment
- Experience with Motion Control preferred
- Strong process engineering skills based on sound engineering and scientific principles
- Extensive technical expertise and strong working knowledge of other related disciplines of engineering common to the business
- Demonstrated ability in technical writing, describing complex processes and qualifications
- Ability to diagnose and communicate problems, root causes and short/long-term solutions
- Leads by example, is self-directed and patient and willing to work with operators and technicians at every level
- Willing and able to work overtime as needed
