- Collecting merchandise and materials from and to trucks and other transport equipment safely, to and from shipping bay, racks, and trays. Grab and place merchandise and materials from and on their respective racks and trays at heights, using high ladders and elevator carts.
- Receiving, counting, and documenting merchandise and materials for delivery or return. Keeping inventory count of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse. Managing all merchandise and materials with appropriate care.
- Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify ALL supervisors. Fast learner, able to keep count, and keep track of materials at all times.
- Ensuring that all the merchandise and materials are safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
- Able to lift and move 50 pounds.
- Able to quickly learn to use computer and software for printing labels and lasered plates.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus (English is a must).
- Able to assemble high-precision equipment, follow instructions, and use computers and electronic devices.
We expect this person to quickly take charge of production quotas, be willing to take charge of assembly projects, self-start, self-organize action plans for the week and month, able to prioritize such activities, and assist with training of newly employed workers.
Qualifications:
- Forklift operator certified (can work on getting cert but has to be able to operate a forklift and get certified).-needs to be skilled on forklift to drive it in tight aisles with ease.
- No college education needed, but has to be good with math (preferably algebraic reasoning) and positive teamwork culture is a must.
- We are looking for a candidate that lives nearby, able to work from 7:30am to 5pm and sometimes extended hours and even on weekends for inventory counts.
- Must speak in English to communicate with customers
The job is pretty straightforward, requiring work focus, critical thinking, math abilities, multitasking, and dependability. We believe in capacitation and no rotation of personnel; therefore, the job is very stable, and we are growing.
